6-25-2017 Dog and Balot

Hey you guys! What a fantastic week as a full time missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Philippines!

RUFF RUFF! Elder Breinholt ate DOG this week! What a fantastic treat. The taste was actually good! Besides the chewniess i was able to get it down! It sat a little heavy in my stomach but it was awesome! It was a good time! Another night we ate Balot! The duck embryo thing! I actually ate 3! MASARAPPP! Also had some pork lungs for lunch! Never not a good time here food wise. So tasty!

My inspiration this week I want to leave with all the fans is about the SPIRIT. I'm very grateful for the spirit and its the most important part of this work! But what i wanna say about it is that you and I need to follow it! You and I have felt that burning in our bosom and that peace come into our heart. And that's my challenge to all of you! Follow that burning in your bosom, that peace in your heart, or the little voice/or however the spirit talks to YOU and follow what your heart says. I know that if you will do that you will be lead things that will make you happy! One of those things being the Book of Mormon! The Book of Mormon is true! It is the most correct book on the earth and if you live what it says you will live a life full of satisfaction. Another thing it will lead you to is your family! Family is what brings joy into our lives! I like to think that my family is the people i most want saved with me haha!

THANK YOU ALL! LOVE YOU ALL!

June 18, 2017 SA Philippines

You guys! How have you been? Oh man I've been good!

I've now been transferred to CUPANG. Its actually the closest area possible to my last area haha. I was expecting to have like a 5 hour bus ride to my next area but we actually got a ride from a member and it only took like 40 minutes haha! My new companion's name is Elder Nelson. He's an awesome Elder. I've actually looked up to the guy my whole mission so its really cool that were companions. This is his last transfer in his mission actually. So it'll be good to see him work hard to the end!

This week we visited a ton of people and taught a lot! But what I would say i learned this week is that our joy in life comes from the FOCUS in our lives. Where ever your focused that's what you're going to be thinking about and acting on. So I kinda learned that if were focused on those good things in life and the stuff that makes us happy, and the stuff that we know we should do, and the stuff God has commanded us to, That's what's going to make us really happy. And that's the stuff we should do. I oddly cant get my words to make sense but hopefully that made sense. Just make sure that your focused on good things that actually bring happiness and that are of God because mas masarap ang buhay if its got God in it.

I LOVE YOU GUYS! THE CHURCH IS TRUE! DO WHAT IS RIGHT AND THE BLESSINGS WILL COME! THE LORD PROMISES JOY IF YOU DO WHAT IS RIGHT! DO WHAT IS RIGHT AND LET THE CONSEQUENCE FOLLOW!

June 11, 2017 Trust in the Lord

Hey you all! An awesome week as a missionary! Heavenly Father answered our prayers this week! So we figured out that next Sunday isnt a normal sunday so that means we cant do the Baptism of the Narbuco girls! It has to be moved to the 17th! and the 14th is transfer day! So i'm nervous to see what happens! I think ill get transfered hah! so that made me super sad. but other than that all week we had been looking for tons of Priesthood in the Branch because they're lacking a little bit! And we were able to share a message and work with a couple of the Melchizedek Priesthood and we brought a couple back to church! So hopefully we can keep being examples to them and help them to return back to our Heavenly Fathers church here on the earth! And we found some to teach! And theres a family hopefully we can start teaching who i think are super ready for the church. I just feel it in them ya know. This work is awesome. Ah man just trust in the Lord all you and don't let anyone decide your attitude. You have thatcontrol. Have a great week. Heres the pictures. Check out my rice gut lololol
