Hello po! I feel like the time just goes by faster here in Infanta. On Tuesday we were riding our bikes from setting a return appointment with a recent convert and her husband for Sunday to teach them..which didnt happen :( but theres hope!  i saw a true to the faith on this beach chair.. so i stopped my bike and told my self im going to meet these people.. It turns out that they arent even members.. but the true to the faith fell on the road so they picked it up.. We talked to the Mom and it turns out her parents were baptized into the church. Her husband is catholic and works in the nearby salt fields. And they haven't really met any missionaries. So we came back the next day to meet Jorge! Thats the dads name. Cause he was working. So we met tatay and he said it was okay if we shared to them. He called his wife too to come and listen. We shared the Restoration. They were listening...but it was a little hard to concentrate..because they dont have any chairs..i had a hard time concentrating teaching sitting on my bike seat.. until i just sat down on the road.. so we had to sit on the busy road to teach them. they liked what we shared tho. and we gave them a Aklat ni Mormon. They have lots of young kids too. So it was honestly just a miracle that we were able to become friends with them and teach them that day. Were hoping that they will accept more of our messages. We passed their house a couple of times now but no one has been home. so were hoping we can talk to them soon. 

We saw more blessings of sharing the gospel as we tried to close the parents of Precious and Daniel.. the parents have been struggling with commitments and honestly letting us teach them. But the kids love us and keep the commitments. So were going to keep up the BRT to the parents and really try to help them all be baptized. I was asking around on Sunday who could go with us to teach with us too. So improvement. little by little.! they will progress in the gospel too! I know it! 

Sunday School was extra fun yesterday as i was given the assignment to teach gospel principles. There were 10 investigators and some members and I taught about the Atonement. Here in the Philippines this week they are celebrating Holy Week! its a catholic tradition where they do stuff that inst taught in our church. So we were able to open that up in the class and talk and share about it. So It really helped with the investigators because they all have catholic background. It also really tested my teaching and my knowledge about the Atonement. It went good tho. Made the class go by super super fast xD 

This week was harder than last week. We had to push ourselves more.. and some of our new investigators we weren't able to get a hold of and teach. So it was really testing but we saw the blessings as we studied and worked and were blessed to teach another family about the restoration and it was the Dads first time listening. So it was such an awesome teaching experience. To build off what the family knew to help the Dad know about it too! So it was super fun and the Dad loved us teaching him! So next week were hoping he wont be busy with his job so we can share with him again.

I'm not a perfect missionary. I catch my self having hard time focus in lessons as kids are loud and distracting.. getting annoyed because of certain things about Filipinos.. or my investigators not understanding as fast as i would like..or stumbling on words.. But i know as i am patient and strive to do my best in my calling.. through the atonement these people will feel the desire to be baptized in the Church and come to know of the truth. I've seen the blessings pour out to our companionship as we become friends with these people and teach them the gospel. So we will keep up the prayers and keep our faith strong and continue to strive to help these people. Thank you for the prayers and the support! I love you guys. Work,work,work.

This week we had our 1st district meeting and we had our Mission President Interviews! It went awesome. I love hearing the ideas and the support and love from our Mission president and his wife.

Hopefully our investigators will still accept lessons this week. They gonna be busy busy this week.. But theres hope! Love you guys!

In our area we have bikes! they are so fun! its like mountain biking every day also. Cause sometimes we ride on dirt roads and then it will go downhill. so its like mountain biking. haha its the funnest! ALso.. about that picture. the houses are so close to the beach here. And our investigators live right there. So as we teach we can see the beach. Its awesome!

More north ya go Elder Breinholt March 18, 2018

Transfer news came this last week! And i was transferred to Infanta Branch. Its even more north in the mission than my last area. It actually borders the next mission. I was hoping to say some goodbyes to my last branch.. but i ate something bad for lunch and was throwing up and had LBMs.. so that made for a bad transfer day.. sooo that was super sad i couldnt say bye to like barley anyone.. Im now here working in the new branch. Its been super fun and I've been enjoying it a ton! My new companion is Elder Ngalu from Hawaii. He has been out for 7 months. Hes batch with Elder Jones. One of my last companions also. I am the District Leader here also. Im pumped too because Elder Yingling my mtc comp was transfered here alsooo!! Heck yeahhh! its going to make for an awesome transfer! 

In spite of how i felt.. I still decided to work.. we have some investigators si Daniel and his older sister Precious. They are so recepetive to the gospel. On transfer day we were able to meet their parents also. The mom is a LA and the dad isnt baptized. So we were able to set a teaching appointment up with them on Friday and we shared the restoration and gave them a Book of Mormon to read. We believe the whole family is being helped by the Lord. Their family is truly a blessing to us. When we were teaching Tatay he asked us if we believe and practice the holy week. That was like his only question the whole lesson he accepted everything about Joseph Smith. So it was awesome! Hopefully he will accept a IBD. The kids went to church this Sunday also but the parents didn't come. So we will continue to spread the gospel to them. :) oh they have really good friends also who were just baptized by Elder Jones and his companion in their area too. So it works out great.

As for other things me and Elder Ngalu so far have been meeting a ton of people here in Infanta. We've been finding new investigators.. teaching the investigators they already have. So its been going great! 

On Sunday I was able to introduce myself to the branch here. I was able to bear my testimony in before the speakers started. So that was fun! When we headed to Gospel Principles class we were shocked haha. We had 4 investigators that we didnt even know lived in our are that were there. They were taught by the missionaries before in our area. One of them are a couple but they cant get baptized because they arent married yet and the others are their neighbors who went to church with them. But my comp knows their house so we will head to them soon. So thats another tender mercy. Shout out to the awesome missionaries who taught them! haha

So yeah it was a good first couple days in my first area and its going to be an awesome transfer! Love you guys!

Baptism of Cary March 11, 2018

Hello Family and Friends! Well I ended off this transfer with the Baptism of Cary Villas. She is a part member who i found on exchanges a while ago. Her sister is very active in the church and attends seminary. So she has great fellowship. I'm very grateful that i was a part of her conversion. I hope one day she will go on a mission also! This week she passed her interview and was confirmed as a member! 

Other than that, we continued to work hard for this last week of the transfer. This next week is transfer week! So bawal ang trunky! Work pa rin hah! This week we were able to meet some new investigators. For all of you that know Victory Liner. We taught a bus driver this week! Him and his wife were super welcoming to us and their house is right across the street from the church! So it works great. We hope they will progress! We really saw the Lord helping us this week to fulfill our purpose. Were having a hard time teaching this couple investigators. Cause they cant really hear.. they are kind of deaf.. so we really have to be loud when we teach. They are so awesome tho! Right now they are getting visited by their pastors in their born again church. But they are accepting us. Tatay opened up a concern with us about how he believes in a life to come but he doesn't hear anything in his church about that. So we testified about the life to come and that our church fully believes in it. And then we gave him the baptismal invitation. He said he had already been baptized... but we then reviewed the Joseph Smith story and he understood and accepeted to be baptized! So its awesome to see how he is understanding the gospel! Hopefully next time we can teach him the Lesson 2! It will be perfect! Hes such a humble nice person and is so nice to us. I love the guy. Hes in his 60's i think

As for other things. We had District Conference this week! So i was able to see some of my friends from my last area! So it was good to see them and catch up with all them! They are awesome! 

So yeah things continue to come and go! I cant believe its March! Ive been here in the Philippines for a year and a little! So fun! Thanks for everything!

Zone Conference March 4,2018

Magandang Umaga po! This week was a good week for me in Liozon. We helped Cary prepare for her baptismal interview, but she didn't pass! She was scared of our Zone Leader i think. But their going to do the interview again this week so we can have the baptism on Friday! On Tuesday we had our Zone Conference. It was much needed to hear the encouraging words of our Mission President and the Zone Leaders and Sister Training Leaders workshops were super fun! We ate some good food and i got to catch up with my last companion Elder Jones. So it was super fun! We taught Julie Angel about the My family history stuff and baptisms for the dead! So she's going to get an interview with the branch president so she can get a temple recommend. I don't know how its going to work tho because the temple is closed... :/  But we taught a best friend of our recent convert and she now has a date of march. But when we went to follow her to come to church she had just gotten out of bed.. :( so she didn't come with us to church. So it was a bummer. We had some return appointments to teach some new investigators but they just didn't really want to get taught. They just told us to come back and then when we went back nothing. it was super confusing. I didn't quite understand.But little by little i hope this one family listens to us. SO yeah that was about it!! Thanks everyone!
