Hey everyone! Happy 4th of July! We partied hard and made some chicken nuggets and bought some american chips! So that was a blast! Tasted real real nice. Things are going good tho here and what not.
We went to that family we found and taught on Sunday. They like everything we tell them and stuff but they don't really seem to soak it in a whole bunch. I think they/re just scared of what they're church might say if they knew they were talking to us! But hopefully something good can come out of it!
We also had another cool experience happen we were trackting and stuff and we were lead to Bobby. What a guy, But we taught him the restoration and when we told him we had a Book of Mormon for him he started to cry and we gave it to him and he was super happy. Then we went back and taught him L2 with a couple of members and it went great! Lol we went back on Sunday night and he told us not to come back. So that was super sad. He said that they're catholic and what not.
Haha we've just been teaching a whole bunch of awesome people. Like one lady told us she had a dream that she was wearing all white and they're were other people in all white and she was baptized in a oval shaped swimming pool. So we were like HOLY CRAP! Thats the temple! But her husband is super methodist and he's not wanting to leave his church even tho he says the Book of Mormon is true and He believes in Joseph Smith. So were working on it.Lets see who else. Were teaching another cool guy who visited Israel and stuff and he was just using this super deep tagalog reciting verses and we explained Joseph Smith and he says he believed it happened. So hopefully he reads the Book of Mormon. Were teaching just a whole bunch of good people. Hopefully some miracles can happen and we can baptize them.
This week i would say to all you! Believe and trust in Gods promises for you! Don't willingly go against the word of God just to please man. John 41 I receive not honour from men.
Just like it says in John. Follow the example of Jesus Christ. He never did anything to please another person, only to do the will of the Father. So as we trust in Jesus Christ and have faith in him we will bless us!
