We got some good work done this week! We finished up the lessons with Brother Jonie (10) and got him interviewed with the Zone Leaders. He passed! I gave him one of my neck ties yesterday at church. He was super stoked about that! His baptism is going to be this coming Saturday!
We got to witness the baptism of our investigator Sister Crisel this week! That was awesome. We are super happy for her! She was super fun to teach! Then she got confirmed on Sunday! That was good! Our housemates also had a baptism with it! Sister Madeline. I interviewed her! Their family is awesome.
This week we had Nanay Dumulot and two of the kids at Church this week! We read the Book of Mormon with them because Nanay doesn't know how to read. So we expounded the scriptures to them this week. They are getting it more and more! We asked Nanay if she's decided if she wants to become a member of the Church. She said Yeah! She just wants the kids to join with her and she doesn't like that they are different religions. So were trying to work that out. They are so awesome tho! Nov 24 is their baptismal date!
Nanay Burtulfo went to church this week with Clowe. Her daughter. They are doing good! We gave them a chocolate drink they can drink in the morning so they don't drink coffee! Its been going good! They haven't been drinking coffee! This week they told us about Cherry on her mission! They said they met this guy and he had ragged long hair his clothes weren't clean but they talked to him and the next day he went to church and cut his hair and cleaned him self up! They aren't
sure if he got baptized tho. But, they had another investigator baptized the same day we did!! So that's awesome. She is an awesome inspiration to her family!
Those were some of the miracles that happened to us this week!
We also got to play Sepak Takraw this week! Its a mix of soccer and volleyball. You only use your feet and theres a net like Volleyball! It is so much harder than it looks haha! But it was super fun!
