Nice sunset! That's what they look like every night!

2nd Transfer here we go!!!!! 4/16/2017

We didn't get transferred! Bagac back at it again! I actually really like it here! This week we only paid for 2 meals haha! Elder Sudweeks is talking us up its awesome! Elder Sudweeks and i have decided that we will start to eat less rice because we both have put on weight haha! We eat about 2 cups of uncooked rice each meal haha! Its the flipping best! The food here is great and were doing great and the people are doing great!

This week i stepped in dog poop while we were getting groceries and didn't realize it until it was all over the house! So that was fun to clean up haha! The smell is gone now!  Elder Sudweeks and I actually scared the poop out of a dog this week too haha! It was awesome! maybe i feel a little bad now but you guys don't realize how many dogs we face each week. Normally they're scaring the poop out of us haha!

Elder Sudweeks was our branch president yesterday! Haha! so that was a good time! As our investigators go they just need to get going to church. we have some baptisms lined up so hopefully they can just church now. Lori Cascasan is treating us very well and feeding us a lot! So that's been really nice of her! Now we are going to start teaching some others of her family! Its going to be great! Also were teaching a Dad named Rick and a son named Carl. Coincidence? I think they did it on purpose! Were too scared to ask haha! We have a baptismal date for them but they're moving out of the area! So other missionaries will get to see the baptism! We're a little bummed but its all good!

Keep reading your BOM ya'll! Its the foundation to your testimony! If you read it you will make good choices. If you dont read it, it will be easier to make other choices. Remember what you want in life and go get it! No one is stopping you but yourself! Have a good week. Eat some rice for me this week haha! Love you guys!

Me cleaning the Font. Haha

April 9, 2017 1st almost Transfer Down!

Time flies! I cant believe my first transfer is already coming to an end! Its going by so fast!! We have transfers this week! I'm pretty nervous because it would be really stressful leading the area haha. We will see! The Lord will be with me always! I'm pretty nervous hahaa.
This week went by so fast! Elder Sudweeks and I ate some nicely cooked PORK HEART and SQUID this week. I don't really think about it and just eat it. It was actually pretty good. The food is getting better and better! It was awesome haha.
Conference was good! It was in Tagalog so i didn't understand much haha so maybe one day. lol. shoot for the stars! Language is a struggle haha. I can get the words but i cant put together what it means haha! It's really frustrating but its all good. Its a start!
We found a bunch of new investigators this week so wish us luck!!! We have some more baptisms in May as of right now! So pray for us!! Helps when both of us are white to find new investigators! haha! They love the white skin here! Its fun because people love it when they know we speak tagalog. Its fun to tell them that were from America and why were here. Its super fun!
This week i got some sweet new shoes! Some nice slip ons. That's what everyone wears here! They're the style here!
Some beautiful beaches that we saw this week! Haha the squid too!!! That brown stuff is the Pork heart haha!! Picture of Zone Conference at the Beach with the sunset. haha jk. and then the new shoes. also some members!

We didnt get to baptize in the ocean :( Sorry for the false hope! Theres pictures of the baptismal font on my drive! It's actually outside! so theres some videos of us cleaning it and what not! Theres a bunch of pictures on my drive if you can somehow get to that! Love you all! Have a good week!

Pics of the Week! My first Baptism!!!

Binyag ni Jasmin 4-2-2017

This week was a week to remember! 3/27/17-4/2/17

We had a Birthday party for Elder Sudweeks at the Simbahan! It was so fun we had youth there and we played games and we had some cake! But I was so filled with gratitude for the Savior that night. His sacrifice for me so that i could be here and experience the fun of missionary work. A night i truly hope to never forget.

I've gained weight its not good. I've been told by so many different people that i'm gaining weight in my face and my stomach hahahaa so that's motivating haha. ;) sorry mom i bought some oatmeal to eat tho.

This saturday we had the baptsim for Jasmin! It's so cool to see her faith! So proud of her and her commitment to take upon her the name of Jesus Christ. And i was lucky enough to perform the Baptism! Ah it was so cool! I did it in Tagalog too! Here it is:

(name) Bilang naatasan ni Jesucristo, Binibinyagan kita sa pangalan ng Ama, at ng Anak, at ng Espirtu Santo. Amen

Our Mission President, President Dahle and his wife were there! So that just added to the nervousness hahaha. But it went really well. holy i look fat in those pictures. mom send me missionary work out stuff pls.pls,pls.

Later that night we taught a new investigator and Brother Fernandez and Sister Jasmin came with us! And Sister Jasmin bore her testimony it was so cool. Gosh shes so cool. I hope she goes on a mission. That would be so cool.

Speaking of that 2 of the youth in the ward have decided that they want to serve missions! So that so cool! ahh its awesome. so happy for them and their desire to serve!

Last night Elder Sudweeks and I ate Pig Heart at Sister Cascasan's house! So that was awesome. It actually tastes pretty good haha i was suprised. You just have to make sure you eat it with a lot of rice haha.

This next week is Conference! Were a week late here in the Philippines! So were so pumped for that! We get to watch it here so that'll be good!

Don't make fun of my weight too much please. its hard to get up and workout. its a work in progress tho! Love you all! I need all the prayers I can get!
